dragons and damsels... not seen very many but this may be because i've been mostly passing through from 0500-0700 hrs. graeme

cheers jono... i was really pleased with this one! didn't have my digiscope but was happy enough with close views from the opposite bank with just my binos. while still bobbing occasionally it gave the impression of a bird trying to conserve energy. also added little owl to my spellbrook list...more

Hiya!
Hi Graeme, I never had common sandpiper along the River in over two years of watching. Great record, taking the recent (post 2004)_list to a staggering 103. The sandpiper and teal being the 2 birds I have missed. How's it for dragon and damsels at present.
